George Yan

Graduated from the East China Institute of Political Science and Law with a bachelor’s degree of law in 1993, Mr.Yan earned his MBA degree in 2005 from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

Practice Areas: Merger & Acquisition, Bankruptcy and Liquidation, Infrastructure; Private Equity, Foreign Direct Investment.

Mr.Yan joined Jin Mao Partners in 2008. Before then, he worked as the legal counsel of a well-known law firm, Siemens China, Boehringer Ingelheim, Shanghai Hai Xin Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Baosteel Iron Group Co., Ltd.

Mr.Yan has many years of legal work experience, providing legal services for companies such as Siemens, IBM, Infineon, EPCOS and Fuji Film in the areas of foreign direct investment, merger & acquisition, project financing, venture capital and PE investment and BOT. He has gained great reputation among the clients for his outstanding capacity in transaction structure design.
