Jack Li was appointed as the Jurisdictional Council Member for China of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association

On December 19, 2016 the renowned international organization, Inter-Pacific Bar Association’s (IPBA) President Dhinesh Bhaskaran sent a letter to the Founding Partners of Jin Mao Partners, First grade lawyer, Jack Li. Referred to in the letter, during the Brussel IPBA Mid-Year Council Meeting, Jack Li was appointed as the Jurisdictional Council Member for China of IPBA for three-year term beginning from immediately after the AGM at the annual Meeting and Conference in Auckland 2017 until the end of the AGM at the annual Meeting and Conference in 2020.

IPBA established in 1991, which is an influential International lawyers’ organization, IPBA is aim to enhance understanding and friendship and expand exchanges and cooperation among Inter-Pacific lawyers, and jointly promote prosperity and harmony in the Asia-Pacific region.

All China Lawyers Association is the Group Member of IPBA. In 2007, the 17th Annual Meeting was held in Chinse capital, Beijing. The Annual Meeting was attracted a wide spread attention, then Standing Committee of Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Secretary of the Political and Judiciary Commission, Luo Gan presented the Annual Meeting and delivered a keynote speech.

The First grade lawyer, Jack Li commenced the legal practicing in 1990 and Jack Li is the expert in the area of Corporation law, International investment and financing and Dispute resolution. Jack Li was elected as Top 10 Youth of Shanghai in 2001 who was the first practicing lawyer be granted this award. In 2004, Jack Li was elected as the Council of International Bar Association, and Jack Li was received by numbers of foreign heads of states, international organizations’ leaders and politicians. Jack Li is the Member of chief legal counsel of Insurance Association of China, Member of the Administrative Reconsideration Committee, Standing Member of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Shanghai Huangpu Committee, Executive member of the council of Shanghai Association of International Service Trade, Arbitrator of Kuala Lumpur Regional Centre for Arbitration, Shanghai International Arbitration Center and Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Part-time professor and graduate advisor of School of International Financial Law of East China University of Political Science and Law, School of Law of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Shanghai University Law School.
