The Lawyers of Jin Mao Partners Attended the 2017 Annual Meeting and Conference of Inter-Pacific Bar Association

The 2017 Annual Meeting and Conference of Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) held in New Zealand's largest city, Auckland, from April 6 to April 9, 2017, which receive widespread attention by international lawyers. The Founding Partner of Jin Mao Partners, Jack Li and the Principal of Jin Mao Partners’ Beijing Office, Qi Bin and The Young lawyer, Keanu ou participated entirely Conference and jointly attended the Council meeting, General meeting, Opening ceremony, Committee sessions, bilateral and multilateral negotiations more than 30 times. During the Annual Meeting and Conference, the organizers also distributed to the delegates the IPBA Annual Publication which contained the professional English articles of “Going out”—Domestic Encouragement of Outbound Investment and Transactions which written by Jack Li.

New Zealand's former Governor-General, Sir Anand Satyanand attended the Opening ceremony, met and had a conversation with Jack Li. Meanwhile, Jack Li further communicated with partial member lawyers of BRICS Lawyers Alliance, G20 Lawyers Alliance and Lawyers Alliance of Shanghai Corporation Organization regarding the “One Belt One Road” Legal Research and Service and achieved a number of results.

Local time April 9 morning, 2017, IPBA held Banking and Financial session to discuss the theory and practice of Green Finance. Jack Li delivered a keynote speech regarding the Green Finance and Its Development in China. In 25 minutes’ speech, Jack shared his viewpoints to international lawyers regarding the current status of green finance, the role of green finance in the world, the latest issues of green finance, the practice of green finance in China, the role of lawyers in the field of green finance. Jack Li also answered the questions from the audience and received high evaluation.

IPBA is one of the three leading international bar organizations in the world. This Annual Meeting and Conference attracted nearly 800 lawyers from all over the world. 40 mainland China lawyers registered to attend the 27th IPBA Annual Meeting and Conference. All China Lawyers Association and the Shanghai Bar Association, respectively, to send a group of participants.
