2017 Shanghai International Air Law Forum held

On May 25, 2017, Shanghai International Air Law Forum - A wide range of air dispute settlement held in Shanghai. Principal of the East China University of Political Science and Law (referred as “ECUPL”),Ye Qing and Vice Principal of ECUPL Lin Yanping, and President of Council for Promotion of International Trade Shanghai and Director of Shanghai International Arbitration Center (referred as “SIAC”), Yang Jianrong and Deputy Director, Secretary General of SIAC, Ma Yi and Mayor of Changning District People's Government Gu Honghui, Vice President of Shanghai First Intermediate People's Court Tang Liming and Chairman of the European Institute of Aeronautical Law Professor PMJ Mendes de Leon and  Senior Legal Officer of the International Civil Aviation Organization Huang Jiefang, Assistant General Counsel of the International Air Transport Association Xie Xingquan, Vice President of the International Law School of ECUPL Li Weifang , General Counsel of Eastern Airlines Guo Hongjun, Legal Counsel of Air China Wu Zhiheng etc., more than 60 Chinese and foreign guests attended the forum. Principal Ye Qing, Director Yang Jianrong, Mayor Gu Honghui and Prof. P.M.J. Mendes de Leon, Chairman of the European Aviation Law Society, respectively, congratulated the forum for convening.

Founding partner of Jin Mao Partners, Arbitrator of SIAC Jack Li submitted the article "The Legal Regulation One the Dispute of Flight Delay - Based on The Study of Normal Management Regulations for Flight" and Jack Li be invited to participate the forum.

The forum was hosted by ECUPL, and International Center for Aeronautics and Space Law of University of Leiden, Netherlands, SIAC and the Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Economic Demonstration Zone. The International Law School of ECUPL and the Shanghai International Aviation Court organized the forum. The forum also supported by Changning District People's Government, the Council for Promotion of International Trade Shanghai and the Aviation Law Research Association of Shanghai Law Society. The gusts of forum heated discussion of the latest cutting-edge issues in international aviation law and the forum achieved complete success.
