On July 11, 2017, delegation of Jin Mao Partners, led by its founding partner Jack Li, has paid a visit to Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Jack Li made an hour-long speech on the topic "Debt Capital Markets – PRC Legal Perspective" in English.

Dr. Uprety, senior counsel of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank hosted the event.  General Counsel G. Saunders, Director General of Treasurer S. Elbech, Director General of Controller Jae Hoon Yoo, Senior Treasury Officer A. Belov, Principle Counsel D. Michaliova, Senior Legal Consultant H. Pitney, together with more than 20 people participated in the event. The participants from Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank raised questions enthusiastically, and the exchange of minds between the two sides reached a successful conclusion.

Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a regional multilateral development institution with an inter-governmental nature, which is the first multilateral financial institution initiated by China.
