All China Lawyers Association Held Summary Conference On the Belt and Road Initiative

The International Profession Committee of All China Lawyers Association (“ACLA”) held the summary conference on the Belt and Road initiative in Hangzhou on July 16, 2017 to orally commend the Chinese Lawyers who participate in the writing of the bilingual version of the Legal Environment Report of the “Road and Belt” Countries (Volume 1&2) in English and Chinese.

Jack Li (Li Zhiqiang), member of Foreign Affairs Committee of ACLA and International Profession Committee of ACLA, Jurisdictional Council Member of Inter-Pacific Bar Association, founding partner and Senior Lawyer of Jin Mao Partners, shared his ideas and suggestions at the conference on the standard of the threshold to and optimization of the Transnational Lawyers Bank with professional lawyers first selected to be its members, the foster of foreign related lawyers for the Belt and Road, the exchange and cooperation of domestic and overseas lawyers and the promotion of participation of Chinese lawyers in international bar associations. The remark of Jack Li was highly appraised by the participants.

Zhang Jingzhong, Vice President of ACLA and Director of the International Profession Committee, Jiang Junlu and Jin Lianshu, Deputy Director of the International Profession Committee, Zhu Ying, Managing Director of ACLA, and some of the members of International Profession Committee and delegate of Transnational Lawyers Bank for the Belt and Road of ACLA including Wu Jian from Duan & Duan, Chen Xuebin from Grandall (Shanghai) Law Firm and Zhao Yongqing from Shining Law Office participated in the summary conference on the Belt and Road initiative work.
