Three delegates from OBOR, One Belt and One Road Legal Research and Service Center of Jin Mao Partners visited Vietnam from June 2 to 4, 2018.

The seminar on investment and financing of Chinese enterprises in Vietnam was held in Vietnam Station of OBOR Legal Research and Service Center, located in the landmark building of Ho Chi Minh City. Chinese lawyers and their Vietnam counterparts exchanged professional views on the current situation and development of investment and financing of Chinese enterprises in Vietnam and the Vietnam section in the book of Investment and Financing of Chinese Enterprises in Philippines Vietnam and Korea in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

During the stay in Vietnam, lawyers from Jin Mao Partners held extensive exchanges with Vietnam elite lawyers and business leaders with a view to introduce the first China International Import Expo to be held in Shanghai in November this year and spread the idea of Consultation, Contribution and Shared Benefits of OBOR. As commented by Vietnam lawyers present in the meeting, China’s idea of building a community of shared future for mankind is consistent with the concept of cooperation and win-win strategy in the world today. It is necessary for lawyers of the two countries to establish a platform for cooperation and mutual benefit. They are eagerly looking forward to meeting again in the annual meeting and conference of IPBA, Inter-Pacific Bar Association 2020 in Shanghai.
