Mr. Xie was admitted to the bar and joined Jin Mao Law Firm to practice law in PRC in 1993. Prior to being a partner of Jin Mao Law Firm in 2002, he was the senior corporate counsel of Siemens China Legal. In 2008, he became one of the founding partners of Jin Mao Partners.
Mr. XIE has acted as PRC counsel for many multinationals, foreign investors and state-owned enterprises with respect to their M&As, FDI, BoT and financing projects, which include but not limited to: IBM’s sale to Lenovo of its personal PC business, QMD’s chip plant in Suzhou, Shanghai Medical Waste Treatment Concession and Spin-off of QMD PRC business from Infineon Technologies, etc. 
Mr. Xie is a member of the Shanghai Bar Association and the All China Lawyers Association. He has been identified by “Asia Law & Practice” as one of the Asia’s Leading Commercial Lawyers since 2003.
