Mapletree Greater China Commercial Trust (MGCCT), Singapore's largest REIT IPO ever, listed in Singapore Exchange on March 7, 2013. Jin Mao Partners acted as the issuer’s PRC legal counsel and assigned Mr. XIE Yong, Mr. QI Bin, Mr. Yan Jianfeng and Ms. LU Yuanyuan as core members of the legal team. The REIT was nearly 30 times oversubscribed, surged 11% on its first trading day and had raised close to 1.7 billion Singapore dollars (1.37 billion U.S. dollars) in its IPO. The REIT is sponsored and managed by Mapletree, a leading Asia-focused real estate development, investment and capital management company headquartered in Singapore.
